Duracell Battery Chargers utilize a microprocessor-controlled three-stage charging method which significantly extends the battery life. Multistage charging ensures that batteries receive optimum charging with minimal wear and tear by regulating the voltage and current delivered to the batteries in three automatic stages: Bulk, Absorption and Float. The bulk charging stage replaces 70-80% of the battery's state of charge at the fastest possible rate.
